The event usually opened officially by the President of Indonesia in front of Bali Monument in Renon, Denpasar & its art and culture happening last for a month, concentrated at Art Centre in Denpasar. Bali Kite Festival
This annual event take place around July or August as strong wind blows in Padang Galak, Sanur, where the festival is held. Numerous colorful kites decorating the blue sky surrounding the festival areas. Many kind of kites participate the event, from 4 meter- width and up to 10 meter, from traditional form to modern styles. It is really about competition of Balinese creativity

On August, in Bali we could witnesses the great commemoration of the anniversary Bali Province that take place on August 14th. The running competition involves many of national class or even world class athletes from around the nation and foreign. As part of sport tourism promotion, this even are expected to encourage numbers of tourist to visit Bali and Indonesia as well.
Sanur Village Festival
